Rideau Valley Conservation Authority Joins Univerus Rec

We’re excited to welcome the Rideau Valley Conservation Authority to the Univerus Rec community. Known for protecting and managing the Rideau watershed while connecting people to nature, RVCA plays a key role in environmental stewardship and outdoor education.


About the Organization

RVCA is one of 36 conservation authorities in Ontario responsible for furthering the "conservation, restoration, development and management of natural resources in the watershed" under the Conservation Authorities Act. They are dedicated to protecting people and property from natural hazards like flooding and erosion, while conserving the wetlands, forests and natural areas that reduce their impacts.


Implementing Univerus Rec

With Point of Sale, Public Access, Registration, and Scheduling in place, RVCA can streamline program delivery and make it easier for the public to engage with conservation areas, events, and educational opportunities.


Driving Public Engagement

At Univerus, our mission is to help organizations simplify their processes to drive public engagement. We’re proud to support initiatives that connect communities with the natural world.
